Cell Phones Are Safe or Are They Not!

Are cell phones safe?Apr 26, 2011 – The media has been abuzz lately with a new study published in The Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) where startling new research is once again raising questions about the safety of cell phones use.  Dramatic findings have shown that talking on the cell phone for about 50 minutes can increase brain activity in the area closest to your phone’s antenna. What exactly does that mean?

Two different television broadcasts whose comments from popular medical doctors produced two different points of views on the efficacy of these reports in regards to our safety of cell phone use.

Should we not worry and wait for conclusive evidence?   A Today Show Report might be able to answer that.

Or should we stand on the side of caution and utilize cell phone use precaution measures as The Dr. Oz Show suggests?

He had guest, Dr Audrey Halpern, MD Neurologist, help explain. Dr Halpern said that it is too early to say if cell phone use is safe or not, but the study is fascinating because it’s the first time anyone has actually demonstrated that there is a direct effect on brain activity associated from cell phone use.
