Cruciferous Vegetables

Cruciferous vegetables are from the cabbage family and include not only a variety of colored cabbages, but a wide variety of other vegetables. Cauliflower, brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale, collard greens, bok choy and arugula are among the many.  They contain very potent antioxidants known for their cancer fighting properties.
